Finding Faith ... in a 22nd birthday

Garrett ... our oldest of four children.

Happy 22nd birthday to this guy! ... Our oldest, or "No. 1" as we affectionately refer to him.

Incredible ... 22 and graduating college? It's hard to believe that much time has flown by.

We are so very blessed by his generous heart, his compassion for others and that million-dollar smile. Every time he and Anna come home, it's reason to celebrate. Even the pets are more joyful when he is around!

We are so proud that he will be graduating with his nursing degree from Augustana University in May and heading to the big city (Minneapolis-St. Paul) to search for work.

Whichever health care facility hires him will be the winner. He is going to be a terrific nurse!

Thank you son for all these years of adventures. I am a very blessed father. You have grown into a tremendous man, and this world is a better place because of you're being in it.

Being we can't be there today, it's up to Anna to spoil you rotten for us! But know that we are there in spirit, and we love you so very dearly!
