The photo above is older brother Garrett with younger brother Carter last night after he and his fellow undefeated and Class 5A No. 1-ranked in state Spuds blanked the undefeated and No. 6-ranked Rogers Royals.

The photo below was five years ago to the day when younger brother got to see his brother beat Andover in the state quarterfinals to move onto the state semifinals. ... Love how these two share this wonderful link!

The Spuds are having a truly historic season, just like Garrett's team five years ago. Not only are they ranked No. 2 in the state in all classes (including the Twin Cities schools), they are 4-0 and they have outscored their opponents 175 to 18. This is a special bunch of kids who have spent the past six years preparing for this season.

Let's keep rolling Spuds! The fun ain't over yet!
